It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Firefighter and Lifetime Member Greg Bozdech. Greg passed away Thursday afternoon surrounded by family and friends. He served the League City community selflessly and with a positive attitude for over 20 years and will be deeply missed.

Firefighter Bozdech came in to the League City Volunteer Fire Department in 1996 where he served as Lieutenant, President of the Executive Board, and Secretary of the Executive Board among other roles and committee chairs. Greg was also an employee of the Pearland Fire Marshals office for over 10 years. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments, but also for his big personality, his smile, and most of all his big heart. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Services will be held as follows:

Visitation/Rosary – Monday, September 10, 4 to 8 p.m. Rosary at 7 p.m., St. Mary’s Catholic Church (1612 E Walker St, League City, TX 77573

Memorial (Open to the Public) – Tuesday, September 11, at noon, Clear Creek Community Church (999 FM 270, League City, TX 77573)

Reception – Tuesday, September 11, following Memorial, Clear Creek Community Church (999 FM 270, League City, TX 77573)
