On 01-17-2018 at 8:40 A.M. Officers responded to the probation office in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with Quadrea Dillard (24 YOA male) who was found to have an outstanding warrant for assault family/household member impeding breath and was placed under arrest. The warrant stemmed from an incident that was reported in December 2017 where Dillard was alleged to have choked an individual.


On 01-17-2018 at 10:37 A.M. Officers responded to the Police Department in regards to a subject turning himself in on two misdemeanor charges. Officers made contact with William Brown (46 YOA male) who was found to have an outstanding bond surrender warrant. Brown was placed under arrest for the warrant and the two misdemeanor charges.
The police department was notified by Child Protective Services of an incident involving allegations of a child under the age of 15 being physically abused. The investigation is ongoing.

On 01-17-2018 at 3:33 P.M. Officers spoke with a complainant in the Police Department lobby in regards to a fraud complaint. Officers were told that an unknown suspect contacted the complainant pretending to be a family member stating they were involved in an accident. The complainant was requested to send bail money. It was later determined that the suspect was not a family member. The investigation is ongoing. The Police Department requests that anyone receiving a call such as this verify the information before sending funds.


Paris Police responded to 82 calls for service and arrested 5 persons over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 A.M. on January 18, 2018.
