On January 17, 2018, at approximately 10:54 a.m., Dallas
police were contacted regarding a health and welfare check at the 5900 block of
Forest Park Road. When Officers arrived they discovered the bodies of
Donnella Heads B/F/31 and Steven Gentry W/M/50 inside of an apartment that was
locked from the inside. Both appear to have died from apparent gunshot
wounds and the case is being investigated as a possible murder/suicide.
Donnella Heads and Steven Gentry were transported to the Dallas County
Medical Examiner for autopsy. A murder offense will be generated on case
#012151-2018. A suicide will be generated on case #012338-2018.
