A Friendswood police officer began a pursuit of a motorcycle in the 1500 block of W. Parkwood going westbound toward Alvin at approximately 2:47 p.m. on September 17. The motorcycle had expired registration (2006) and during the pursuit was driving in excess of 100 mph. Due to the speeds involved and the safety of other motorists, the pursuit was terminated as the motorcycle left the city limits. Several minutes later at 2:53 p.m., the motorcycle was seen headed eastbound on W. Parkwood back into Friendswood from Alvin. He was weaving in and out of traffic and ducked off into a subdivision. An officer was patrolling in the Mission Estates subdivision and saw the motorcyclist.  The motorcyclist took off at a high rate of speed and headed back eastbound onto W. Parkwood Avenue. As the motorcyclist approached Sunset, he laid down the motorcycle. The motorcycle clipped the back of one car and hit a UPS truck.  The motorcyclist tried to get back on the motorcycle but was quickly detained by police officers.  Medics were dispatched to the scene but the motorcyclist did not require any medical attention. The motorcyclist was identified as 18-year old Mohamed Ahmed-Kaddar, of Houston. He was charged with Evading Arrest. His bond was set at $30,000.
