Paris Police responded to a fraud call in the 4100 block of Lamar Ave at 9:42 A.M. on June 7, 2018. It was reported that a devise was found inside a gas pump that appeared to be some sort of a skimming devise. The incident is under investigation. 

 
Lauren Rhea Samuel, 31, of Paris was located ar her residence and placed under arrest on an outstanding felony warrant out of Grayson County charging her with possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear. Samuel was placed in the Lamar County Jail.

  
Crostley          Loftin
Paris Police arrested 37 year old Charles Ryan Crostley, of Paris, and 41 Year old James Harold Loftin, II, of Lamar County, in the 2100 block of Church St at about 11:23 P.M. on June 7, 2018 when officers responded to a complaint of a narcotics violation. During the investigation, officers were allowed to search the vehicle belonging to Crostley. Officers located a baggie of methamphetamine and both were charged with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance of more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams. Both were later placed in the Lamar County Jail.

 
Paris Police were extremely busy by responding to 163 calls for service and arresting 7 persons on June 07, 2018.
