Child Abuse investigators say that Daniel Pacheco the 2-week old infant that was severely beaten by his father has passed away.

Investigators charged Luis Angel Pacheco (08/29/1991) with injury to a child, but charges are expected to be upgraded with the child's death.

On Monday February 25, 2019 EMS personnel transferred the infant from a residence in the 16600 block of Gaeldom drive in west Harris County.

The child was admitted to Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus(Katy).

Doctors alerted the Sheriff’s Office, after the injuries on the child were inconsistent with the father’s statement to them.

The child had numerous blunt force injuries to his skull and other blunt force injuries on his stomach and groin area.

HCSO Investigator J. Garcia and lead investigator Harris County Precinct 5 Deputy Investigator M. Puente responded to the hospital.

Investigators say t hat Pacheco told them he was attempting to change his son’s diaper when child began to cry.

He was trying to calm him down by holding him and change the diaper on the infant.

While he was walking from one to another , he dropped the child on the concrete floor.

Pacheco noticed the injury on the child’s head but did not make his wife aware of the injury.

The child’s mother was in another part of the home during the incident.

After a few hours the child’s breathing became labored and 911 were called.

Pacheco could not explain the other injuries to the child or how they occurred.

He is currently being held on a $250,000 bond.

Fry this scumbag...and Fast.
