On 01/30/19 the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Unit assisted by the Tactical Response Team, Identification Division, US Marshal’s, and Texas Department of Public Safety executed a search and arrest warrant at 4217 Sevan Street in Bacliff, Texas the residence of Herbert Goeler (B/M 22 years of age) and Payton Dominy (W/F 18 years of age).

Upon entering the residence Goeler, Dominy along with 3 other people, were located and detained. 433 grams of methamphetamine was located in their bedroom. Also located were 3 loaded handguns and over $2700.00 in cash. The street value of the methamphetamine was just over $25,000.00.

The listed residence is within 1000 feet of a school this enhances the offense. There were preventative measure taken to ensure the safety of the children. The warrant was executed without incident.

The Galveston County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and recommended the Goeler is charge with Manufactory and Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group One <400g in a school drug free zone ($250,000.00 bond) and Goeler was charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm ($250,000.00).

Dominy was charged with Manufactory and Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group One <400g in a school drug free zone ($20,000.00 bond).

Goeler has 2 felony convictions, is a documented gang member, and is on Parole with the Texas Department of Corrections. Both Dominy and Goeler were booked and remain in the Galveston County Jail at the time of this release.
