Investigators with Constable Mark Herman's Emissions Task Force Unit conducted a “curbstoning” investigation in a parking lot located in the 1100 block of Spears Road.
The investigation revealed a suspect, identified as Mikey Flores was displaying and selling numerous salvage vehicles without a Texas Dealer License.    Mikey Flores was issued a citation for Engaging in Business as a Dealer without a License.
“Curbstoners are unlicensed dealers who typically purchase vehicles that are unsafe or salvaged and resell them to unsuspecting buyers.
These types of vehicles have not been inspected by a Sate Vehicle Inspector and do not meet the State mandated safety or emissions standards.”  - Constable Mark Herman

~ THE EXHAUST POLICE NEED TO GET A GRIP.
Those crmestoppers, should be looking for residential/commercial burglars, instead of wasting time/resources chasing a wannabe used car dealer. What a useless waste of tax dollars. How many worn out Pct 4 vehicles did he have for sale?????
