2018 Motorsports Expo

Kemah Boardwalk

November 17th, 2018 – 10AM to 6PM

“Help Us Fight Child Abuse, It Would Be A Crime Not To Be There”

On November 17th, 2018 Beat The Heat will be hosting a Motorsports Expo at the Kemah Boardwalk to benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center of Galveston County. Beat The Heat is an all volunteer self funded Law Enforcement and Firefighter drag racing organization. Beat The Heat is dedicated to reducing illegal street racing, drinking and driving and texting while driving by our youth.

All forms of motorsports are welcome to participate. We will have Karts, Motorcycles, Dirt racers, Jr. Dragsters and a large number of drag racers on hand. Come see the Fastest Police Vehicles in the country. If you race it, you can show it!!

The entry fee is $15.00 and trailer parking will be available. Each team will be given a canister for their racer and they are encouraged to solicit donations from the visitors, friends and family. They can collect in advance as well. Make out all checks to GCCAC. At the end of the day, the top three teams who have collected the most money will be the winners. All proceeds and registrations fees will be donated to the Advocacy Center. This makes everyone a winner!!

Any racers interested are asked to contact Lt. Tommy Hansen, Galveston County Sheriff’s Office at 409 682-0487 or email – tommy.hansen@co.galveston.tx.us
