On November 5, 2018, a deputy
with Constable Mark Herman’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle
traveling at a high rate of speed in the 25700 block of Aldine Westfield Road.
The driver refused to stop, leading deputies on a brief pursuit.
The driver reached speeds of 100
mph before Constable Deputies were able to bring the pursuit to a stop in the
3300 block of Ciderwood Drive. The
driver was identified as Fernando Gomez.
“Fernando Gomez was arrested and
booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading Arrest. His bond is
set at $2,500.00 out of the 183rd District Court.” – Constable Mark Herman
