Two people died Sunday in a crash between a car and a
motorcycle in Texas City.
Texas City Police received call from the University
of Texas Medical Branch hospital in Galveston Sunday evening that both
motorcyclists died as a result of their injuries, spokesman Allen Bjerke
said.
The driver was a 63-year-old male and the passenger was a
55-year-old female. The Galveston County Medical Examiners Office is
withholding their names until family is notified.
The
accident happened when the motorcycle collided with a black Nissan
Rouge attempting to turn into the Mall Of The Mainland parking lot.
The 53-year-old driver and two passengers of the Nissan, aged 58 and 76, received only minor injuries.
