On October 18, 2018 a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office was travelling in the 5700 block of Will Clayton Parkway when he observed a wrong way driver traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes. 

 

The deputy conducted a traffic stop and the driver was identified as Aaron Abernathy who displayed several signs of intoxication. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was discovered he was driving while intoxicated. Aaron Abernathy’s blood alcohol level was found to be over twice the legal limit.

 

“Aaron Abernathy was arrested and booked into the Harris County jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated >.15. His bond is set at $2,000.00 out of County Court 16.” – Constable Mark Herman
