On August 6, 2018 a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office
observed a suspicious vehicle in the 21400 block of Kuykendahl Road driving
slowly through the Cinemark Movie Theater parking lot.
Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was used
during a previous aggravated robbery in Harris County. One the occupants in the
vehicle matched the description listed for the alleged suspect in the robbery
case.
The suspect parked the vehicle and entered a nearby
business. During this time the Constable Deputy requested for additional units
to respond due to the suspects’ violent tendencies and the amount of citizens
present at the time. The suspect then exited the business and deputies quickly
detained and identified him as Alexander Edinger who was found to have multiple
open felony warrants.
Constable Deputies located and recovered two stolen firearms
that were in Edinger’s possession and were able to tie him to several robberies
throughout the Spring area.
“Alexander Edinger was arrested and booked into the Harris
County jail for the open Theft of a Firearm and Fraudulent Use of
Identification warrants. Additional charges will be filed for being in
possession of stolen firearm. His total bond is set at
$3,000.00 out of the 208th District Court.”
