All,

We have been notified by several Santa Fe families and students that multiple media outlets have been "hounding" them for quotes and reactions during this difficult time. I ask you all to respect the privacy of these families and students as they grieve. The Family Assistance Center is set up to assist families coping with this horrific tragedy and getting them whatever resources they require. While we understand there is a story the media needs to report, we hope you will balance that responsibility with compassion and empathy for the Santa Fe families and students. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this delicate matter.

Sincerely,

Connor Hagan

FBI Houston: Public Affairs Officer

Comments:
I so agree! Media, this is a four day old event w/ no-new facts to present. Stop hounding the comunity and start letting the healing begain. All you are doing is fueling the next stupid idiot somewhere to pull-off their stupid attack and keeping DRAMMA on-going.

It's time to let the people heal and move-forward with life as it is now. Media BS continued talk won't help that.
