On May 11,
2018, at approximately 2:00 P.M., a tenant of the Pacifica Apartments,
at 7550 South Westmoreland Road, arrived home to find the suspect,
Anthony Elder, a 30-year-old black male, removing property from the
tenant’s apartment, without his consent. The tenant confronted the
Suspect and a struggle ensued. The tenant produced a knife and stabbed
the Suspect. He was transported to Charlton Methodist Hospital, where he
was pronounced deceased.
