Harris County deputy taken by Life Flight after being struck by vehicle

CROSBY, Texas - A Harris County deputy was airlifted to a hospital after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night in Crosby, officials said.

The incident was reported at 10:14 p.m. on Highway 90 and FM 2100.

Officials said the deputy was working a traffic stop when he was hit by another vehicle.

Officials said the deputy was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital with serious injuries.

In a tweet Sunday morning, the Harris County Sheriff's Office wrote the deputy is in good condition and his injuries were not life threatening.
