$10,000 Reward Offered for Prisoner Who Escaped Custody in Dallas-Fort Worth Area February 12, 2013
The escape took place at approximately 11:20 p.m. in Grapevine when Morales stabbed the detective while being transported from Miami, Fla., to a state prison in Nevada. He has a violent criminal past and received two life sentences for aggravated sexual assault. The injured officer is currently hospitalized. There are four different ways to provide anonymous tips: Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477). All calls, texts, e-mails and Facebook messages are anonymous. Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor's Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.
