FRIENDSWOOD - Bond for Caryan Michele Reid, 39, was arrested Thursday after she was involved in a collision with another car and found to be drunk.

Her bond was set at $25,000, stemming from a 3:08 p.m. crash in the 800 block of Sunset Drive, Friendswood police said.

The woman was drinking at a restaurant before leaving to pick up a child from school.

Police say she tested four times above the legal blood-alcohol limit. Reid and the other driver were both taken to a hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Intoxication Assault is punishable of between two to 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
