A Lake Jackson man and his girlfriend were arrested for stealing an expensive designer watch from a family member in Pearland.

According to police records, the theft occured on Dec. 13 at a home in the 2100 block of Yupon Circle. The victim told detectives she was visiting family members . when she discovered her Rolex watch missing. Valued at approximately $13,000, detectives believe the watch caught the eye of the couple also present during the victim’s visit.

Investigators began checking records of area pawn shops and eventually located the watch in Houston. The seller was identified as Pearland-resident Taylor Page, 20, who the victim confirmed was present when the watch disappeared.

Upon further investigation, detectives determined Taylor’s boyfriend, 21-year-old Travis Wooldridge of Lake Jackson was also involved in the theft.

The pair were arrested and charged with third-degree felony charges of theft (greater than $10,000 and less than $100,000). Bond was set at $20,000 each.

Comments:

Haha. I knew Travis in High school he was always a wannabe gangster. Serves him right as many stories as I've heard about the guy. I hope he rots in jail he's such a joke.

Man, such harsh words everyone makes bad mistakes and choices, but to say he should rot in hell, well I wouldn't go quite that far.... I'm not so quick to throw a way a human life. What if that were your brother....? Just a thought.
