Weekly Media Summary & “BLOTTER” Review

 

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

 

 

A 29 year old female from Willis was arrested at 10:20am, October 28, and taken to jail from a location on FM 1097 East, by Deputy T. Lambert, for a parole violation warrant out of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

On October 29, Deputy K. Wakefield stopped a vehicle in the area of Highway 105 East, near Crockett Martin. The vehicle had three occupants, a 55 year old male from Conroe, a 29 year old female and a 49 year old male, both from Cleveland. After the investigation, all three subjects were arrested at 12:30am, charged with possession of a controlled substance and taken to jail.

On October 29, Deputy Z. Winford was sent to a residence on Twin Pines Drive, in reference to a welfare concern. The Deputy located an intoxicated female and detained her. The 21 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 1:17am and transported to jail.

A 27 year old female from Cleveland was arrested at 1:25am, October 29, and taken to jail from a residence on Weir Road, by Deputy R. Stein, for a possession of controlled substance warrant, a possession of marijuana warrant and an unlawful possession of a firearm warrant.

A 46 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 2:10am, October 29, and taken to jail from a residence on FM 1484, by Deputy S. Degner, for a parole violation warrant out of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

A 26 year old male from Willis was arrested at 3:41am, October 29, and taken to jail from a residence on Willow Drive, by Deputy Z. Winford, for a theft of material (wire) warrant.

A 37 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:15am, October 29, and taken to jail from a residence on Jeffcoat Road, by Deputy S. Degner, for a child non-support warrant.

A 23 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 5:40am, October 31, and taken to jail from a Conroe Hospital, by Deputy W. Rollins, for two felony assault warrants, two evading arrest warrants and a terroristic threat warrant, all out of Montgomery County.

On October 31, Deputy D. Savage was notified of an assault at a residence on Hill Road. When the investigation was completed, a 32 year old male, from Conroe, was arrested at 5:42am, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of a firearm and was transported to jail.

On November 1, Deputy J. Henson responded to a welfare concern involving a male passed out in a vehicle at a stop sign. The 28 year old male driver, from Conroe, was found to be intoxicated and arrested at 3:32am, charged with Driving While Intoxicated and taken to jail.

A 22 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:22am, November 3, and taken to jail from a location on Hwy 105 East, by Deputy S. Degner, for three misdemeanor warrants.

A 23 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:37am, November 3, and taken to jail from a residence on Crockett Crossing, by Deputy S. Degner, for a child non-support warrant.

 

 

 

District 2 – Lt. Bill Bucks (South County)

 

 

On 10-26-13 at approximately 0126, Deputy Veith had conducted a traffic stop at Richards and North Head. The Deputy came in contact with a 22 year old male. A run through dispatched showed the subject had an active warrant through Montgomery County. The Subject was arrested for a burglary of habitation warrant and transported to jail.

On 10-26-13 at approximately 0730, Deputy Ortiz was on patrol in the 18200 block of Interstate 45 North, when he observed a passenger car pass him at a high rate of speed. The Deputy initiated a traffic stop and came in contact with a 32 year old female. After an investigation, the female was determined to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and a failure to appear warrant.

On 10-26-13 at approximately 1138, Deputy Christensen was dispatched to the 400 block of Sawdust Rd, in reference to a car being driven on a flat tire. Upon her arrival, the Deputy made contact with a 42 year old male trying to change his tire. The subject was determined to be intoxicated and was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to jail without further incident.

On 10-26-13 at approximately 1907, Deputy Allen was dispatched to the 25000 block of Interstate 45, in reference to a theft in progress. Upon his arrival, the Deputy met with the complainant, loss prevention, who advised that two females were opening boxes of shoes and then concealing the merchandise. A 31 year old female and a 38 year old female were able to leave the store, but were located a short distance away. They were taken into custody for theft and transported to jail.

On 10-27-13 at approximately 1830, Deputy Dowell was dispatched to the 11300 block of Cox Road, in reference to a disturbance. Upon his arrival, the Deputy met with the complainant who stated she had a verbal argument with a male.  The male reportedly left on foot.  The Deputy came in contact with the 28 year old male, who was walking down the middle of Cox Road. The subject was determined to be intoxicated and taken into custody for public intoxication.

On 10-28-13 at approximately 2316, Deputy Burnett was dispatched to an attempt to locate a vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle, which did not have any tail lights, and initiated a traffic stop at Interstate 45 South and Sawdust Road. During his investigation, the Deputy made contact with a 23 year old male. A run through dispatch showed the subject had two open warrants out of Harris County.  The subject was taken into custody for an assault causing bodily injury to a public servant warrant and a burglary of a building warrant.

On 10-29-13 at approximately 0259, Deputy Burnett was on patrol in the area of Rayford Road and Richards Road, when he witnessed and heard a vehicle strike a curb. The Deputy initiated a traffic stop and came in contact with a 25 year old male. After an investigation, he was determined to be intoxicated. The Deputy additionally located a controlled substance in the vehicle. The subject was arrested for driving while intoxicated and being in possession of a controlled substance.

On 10-29-13 at approximately 2240, Senior Sergeant Russell was on patrol in the area of Interstate 45 South and The Woodlands Parkway, when he observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The Senior Sergeant initiated a traffic stop and came in contact with a 35 year old male driver and a 20 year old male passenger. During his investigation, the Senior Sergeant located a controlled substance on the driver and marijuana on the passenger. The driver was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and the passenger for possession of marijuana. Both were transported to jail without further incident.

On 10-30-13 at approximately 0250, Deputy Mathis was dispatched to the area of Rayford Road and Richards Road, in reference to a vehicle weaving in and out of traffic with a flat tire. The Deputy located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The Deputy came in contact with a 40 year old female who was determined to be intoxicated. The subject was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated (2nd) and was transported to jail without further incident.

On 10-30-13 at approximately 2001, Deputy Allen was dispatched to the 24800 block of Interstate 45, in reference to a vehicle failing to maintain a single marked lane. The Deputy located the vehicle, which had struck another vehicle. The 57 year old male driver was determined to be intoxicated and was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

On 10-30-13 at approximately 2213, Deputy Dowell was dispatched to the 9600 block of Broadway Avenue, in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, the Deputy met with the complainant who advised that she had an argument with male, who had assaulted her. The Deputy took the 20 year old male into custody for assault.

On 10-31-13 at approximately 1900, Deputy Frantz was dispatched to the 2300 block of Fawnwood Drive, in reference to a trespasser. Upon arrival, the Deputy met with the complainant who advised a 43 year old male came to his house to sell magazines. The complainant told the subject to leave and not to come back. The subject came back and was banging and yelling at the complainants door. The subject was taken into custody for criminal trespass and transported to jail.

On 10-31-13 at approximately 2303, Deputy Vercher was dispatched to the 300 block of Rayford Road, in reference to an intoxicated male. Upon his arrival, the Deputy made contact with a male that was refusing to leave and yelling at customers. The subject was determined to be intoxicated and was placed under arrest for public intoxication.

On 11-1-13 at approximately 0053, Deputy McKee was dispatched to the 2300 block of Cory Crossing Lane, in reference to a suspicious female. Upon arrival, the Deputy checked the area for the subject and was unable to locate her. He did come in contact with a vehicle, parked in the middle of the roadway, and the driver matched the description of the suspicious subject. As the Deputy was pulling alongside the vehicle, the vehicle pulled away at a high rate of speed. The Deputy attempted to initiate at traffic stop, but the vehicle would not stop. The vehicle fled until the tires of the vehicle were flattened by spike strips.  The female then attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly apprehended.  The female was taken into custody for evading with a motor vehicle.  

On 11-1-13 at approximately 2345, Deputy Wilkerson and Deputy Pearson were dispatched to the area of Rayford Road and Riley Fuzzle, in reference to a disturbance past. Upon their arrival, the Deputies made contact with a 34 year old male. A run through dispatch showed the subject had two open warrants and he was taken into custody.

 

 

District 3 – Lt. Joe Senn (East County)

 

 

On 10/29/2013, Deputy Amstutz stopped a suspicious vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Porter. It was reported that the occupant of the vehicle was suspected of committing theft from inside the store. During the investigation, the 25 year old male gave a false name. Later he provided a forged identification card. Also inside the vehicle, was a 21 year old female who had stolen merchandise from the store and was discovered to have methamphetamines concealed on her person. The male was arrested for forgery and the female was arrested for theft and possession of a controlled substance.

On 10/30/2013, Deputies White and Hall were dispatched to a New Caney neighborhood for a disturbance. They learned that the 50 year old male and an associate of his had become involved in an argument. During the argument, the male brandished a large hunting knife while threatening him.   The male was arrested for aggravated assault.

On 10/31/2013, Corporal LeBeau was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart, in reference to a theft. He learned that a 28 year old male had been observed concealing merchandise and stealing it from the store. The male was arrested for theft.

On 11/01/2013, Deputy Jordan was dispatched to a disturbance in New Caney. While on location, he encountered an individual driving a vehicle who was intoxicated. The 23 year old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated.  During the inventory of his vehicle, a baggie of marijuana was discovered inside and a possession of marijuana charge was added.

On 11/05/2013, Deputies White and Hall were dispatched to a Porter neighborhood, in reference to a disturbance. Upon their arrival, it was discovered that the mother of a 19 year old found her daughter in possession of marijuana. The mother threw the marijuana outside and the daughter began to assault her.  The daughter was arrested for assault and possession of marijuana.

 

 

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

 

 

On November 2nd, Deputy Provenzano was advised by a motorist that a car in front of him had hit a guardrail.  The Deputy got behind the vehicle and witnessed the vehicle speeding.  The Deputy conducted a traffic stop, on State Highway 249 at Woodtrace.  The Deputy made contact with a 69 year old male who was driving.  The subject advised he had just come from the Renaissance Festival and had been drinking.  After an investigation, the subject was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, 2nd offense.

 

On November 2nd, Deputy Thomas observed a vehicle with an expired registration. The Deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Arlene and Russell and made contact with the 25 year old female who was driving.  After an investigation, it was discovered that 2.3 grams of methamphetamine were inside a vent located inside the vehicle.  The subject was taken into custody for felony possession of a controlled substance and a warrant for probation violation.

 

On November 1st, Deputy Sharman and Deputy Allen observed a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot, behind the Briarcrest Apartments.  A traffic stop was conducted and contact made with the 25 year old male driver.  A strong odor of marijuana could be smelled coming from the vehicle.  A baggie of marijuana was discovered under the steering wheel of the vehicle, along with a Texas Identification Card, with the driver’s correct name and picture.  The subject was taken into custody for failure to identify (Fugitive), a confirmed warrant, and possession of marijuana.

 

 

 

 

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch   (Northwest County)

 

 

On 10/26/13, Deputy Thompson responded to an assault on April Point North. A 42 year old female was arrested for assault.

On 10/29/13, Deputy West responded to Tree Bark Lane, in reference to a disturbance. An intoxicated male was located and arrested for public intoxication.

On 10/26/13, Deputy Thompson conducted a traffic stop on Walden Road. A 37 year old male was arrested for active warrants.

On 10/26/13, Deputy Macias conducted a traffic stop on Rabon Chapel Road.  After an investigation, the 21 year old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

On 10/30/13, Deputy C. Burk responded to a suspicious person call on Rabon Chapel Road. A 36 year old male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and active warrants.

On 10/30/13, Deputy Walker was at a residence on Buck Ridge Road, serving an active warrant on a female. The female was taken into custody.  Deputy Walker additionally arrested a male in the home for possession of a controlled substance.

On 10/31/13, Deputy Ashmore responded to an assault call on Doe Hill Drive. A 45 year old male was arrested for assault and interference with an emergency phone call.

 

 

 

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

 

 

Deputies were dispatched to 3040 College Park Drive for the following shoplifter in custody calls:

-On October 31, a 27 year old female was arrested after attempting to take $128.04 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

-On November 1, a 56 year old female was arrested after attempting to take $68.38 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

-On November 2, a 22 year old male was arrested after attempting to take $79.34 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

Deputies were dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive for the following shoplifter in custody calls:

-On October 31, a 17 year old female was arrested after attempting to take $121.00 worth of merchandise from the J.C. Penny’s Department Store

On October 31, a 19 year old male was arrested after attempting to take a purse from an individual at the Woodlands Mall.  A witness chased the suspect until he dropped the purse.  Deputies were able to locate the suspect a short distance away and placed him into custody for the theft. 

On November 3, Deputy Eisenmenger arrested a 26 year old male after a traffic stop on College Park Drive.  During the course of the traffic stop, Deputy Eisenmenger observed the suspect to show several signs of intoxication.  After an investigation, the suspect was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

On November 3, Deputy Jackson was dispatched to an attempt to locate, in reference to a reckless driver.  Deputy Jackson located the vehicle as it exited Interstate 45 near Valleywood Drive.  Deputy Jackson stopped the vehicle on a traffic stop.  After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On November 4, Deputy Martin observed a suspicious vehicle at 3040 College Park Drive.  Upon making contact with the occupants, Deputy Martin found that two of the females had narcotics in their possession.  A 26 year old female was charged with possession of a controlled substance and a 19 year old female was charged with possession of marijuana.  Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
