Weekly Media Summary & “BLOTTER” Review

 

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

 

A 40 year old male from Willis was arrested on a Crime Stoppers tip at 2:00am, October 21, and taken to jail from a residence on East Ravine Run, by Deputy K. Wakefield, for two traffic related warrants out of JP 1 and a burglary of a habitation warrant out of Jefferson County.

On October 22, Deputy W. Rollins was sent to the 18300 block of Highway 105 East, in reference to an intoxicated female. The Deputy located the female staggering around in the parking lot. The 46 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 3:25am for public intoxication, harassment of a public servant and taken to jail.

On October 22, Deputy W. Rollins stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of FM 3083 and Gulf Coast Road. After an investigation, the 26 year old male driver from Conroe was arrested at 7:55pm for Driving While Intoxicated, (2nd), a driving with license suspended warrant out of Anderson County and taken to jail.

A 27 year old female from Willis was arrested at 7:36pm, October 24, and taken to jail from a residence on Enchanted Waters Drive, by Deputy J. Davidson, for a JP 1 traffic warrant.

On October 25, Deputy K. Berger stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 12000 block of Royal Green Road. The 51 year old male driver, from Conroe, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested at 2:20pm, charged with driving while intoxicated, and taken to jail.

On October 25, Deputy L. Slatter was notified of a disturbance call in the 15400 block of Jody Lane. The Deputy located an intoxicated male who was arguing with others on scene. The 53 year old male, from Conroe, was arrested at 10:14pm and taken to jail.

On October 26, Deputy W. Rollins was dispatched to a location on Lakeshore Drive, in reference to a suspicious vehicle.  A male on scene was found to be intoxicated.  The 34 year old male, from Spring, was arrested at 1:14am and transported to jail.

On October 27, Deputy J. Henson responded to a residence on Darkwood Street, in reference to an assault call. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he and a female were arguing, when she struck him on the arm with a 2” x 4” board. The 52 year old female, from Willis, was arrested at 12:32am and taken to jail.

A 39 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 9:41pm, October 27, and taken to jail from a location on East Loop 336 near Highway 105 East, by Deputy L. Slatter, for three traffic related warrants.

 

 

 

District 2 – Lt. Bill Bucks (South County)

 

 

On 10-21-13 at approximately 2212, Deputy Allen was on patrol in the 25200 block of Interstate 45, Imperial Chase Apartments, when he observed a suspicious male. During his investigation, the Deputy located a .40 caliber semi auto handgun fully loaded, which was discovered to be reported stolen. A 22 year old male was taken into custody for possession of a stolen firearm and transported to jail.

On 10-22-13 at approximately 2017, Deputy Christensen was dispatched to the 29000 block of Red River Loop, in reference to a disturbance. Upon her arrival, the Deputy came in contact with a 26 year old male and a 24 year old female. A run through dispatched showed the male had an active warrant through Montgomery County. The male subject was taken into custody for a violation of a promise to appear warrant. The female subject was determined to be intoxicated and taken into custody for public intoxication. Both subjects were transported to jail without further incident.

On 10-22-13 at approximately 1257, Deputy Christensen was dispatched to the 400 block of Sawdust Road, in reference to a suspicious person. Upon her arrival, the Deputy met with the complainant who advised that a male subject, in the store, was acting suspiciously.  The Deputy made contact with the 22 year old male, who was concealing several pairs of expensive sunglasses in his underwear.  The subject was taken into custody for theft and transported to jail.

On 10-22-13 at approximately 1803, Deputy Knight was patrolling the area of Montgomery Creek Ranch subdivision, when he observed a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy initiated a traffic stop and came in contact with a 19 year old male. A run through dispatch showed the subject had an active warrant. He was arrested for the warrant and taken to jail without further incident.

On 10-23-13 at approximately 1130, Deputy Gratz was on patrol in the 25700 block of Budde Road, when he observed a female subject walking in the middle of the roadway. The Deputy made contact with the 20 year old female. A run through dispatch showed the subject had an active warrant. The subject was taken into custody for a criminal mischief warrant and transported to jail.

On 10-23-13 at approximately 1920, Deputy McKee was dispatched to the 100 block of Sawdust Road, in reference to a shop lifter in custody. Upon his arrival, the Deputy discovered a male was trying to leave the store without paying for the merchandise. The subject was arrested for theft and transported to jail without further incident.

On 10-23-13 at approximately 2030, Deputy Burnett was dispatched to the 24000 block of Richards Road, in reference to a disturbance in progress. During his investigation, the Deputy came in contact with a 23 year old female. A run through dispatch showed the subject had an active warrant through Montgomery County. The subject was taken into custody for a failure to appear warrant and transported to jail.

On 10-23-13 at approximately 2244, Deputy Burnett was patrolling the area of Rayford Road and Lazy Lane, when he observed a vehicle that did not have any license plate lights. The Deputy initiated a traffic stop and came in contact with a 44 year old female. A run through dispatch showed the subject had an active warrant out of Harris County. The subject was taken into custody for an active theft warrant and transported to jail without further incident.

On 10-24-13 at approximately 2115, Deputy McKee initiated a traffic stop on Sawdust Road and came in contact with a 25 year old male. A run through dispatch showed the male had four (4) active warrants through Montgomery County. The subject was taken into custody for warrants and was transported to jail.

 

 

 

 

District 3 – Lt. Joe Senn (East County)

 

On 10/23/2013, Deputy Lawless was dispatched to a New Caney residence for a disturbance. He learned that a 55 year old male and 41 year old female were intoxicated and arguing. During the argument, the male struck the female on her head. The male was arrested for assault. The female was found to have four misdemeanor warrants and was also arrested.

On 10/24/2013, Deputy Amstutz was dispatched to a disturbance at a Splendora residence. While in route, he located a 50 year old male walking down the roadway who had been involved. The male was found to be intoxicated by drugs and alcohol. He was arrested for public intoxication.

On 10/24/2013, Deputy Bartoskewitz was dispatched to a theft at the Porter Wal-Mart. It was found that a 24 year old male had stolen several items from inside the store, then ran and hid after being confronted by store employees. He was located by Deputies hiding under a truck in the parking lot and arrested for the theft.

On 10/25/2013, Deputy Bartoskewitz was dispatched to a car in the ditch on FM 1485 in New Caney. On arrival, he found the 32 year old male driver to be intoxicated. The driver had an open container in the vehicle and a previous conviction for driving while intoxicated. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

On 10/28/2013, Deputy Layman was dispatched to a Conroe neighborhood for a suspicious vehicle.  When he arrived, the Deputy found a 32 year old female and 31 year old male in the truck engaged in lewd acts, within the public view. Both were arrested for public lewdness.

On 10/28/2013, Deputy Amstutz was dispatched to a Porter neighborhood for a disturbance. On arrival, he learned that a 17 year old male had given two pedestrians a ride to this area.  Reportedly when they arrived, a 26 year old male and 31 year old female took his truck keys and began to assault him. The driver called 911 and the two passengers fled into the woods.  Deputy Amstutz located the two individuals in the woods and arrested them for deadly conduct, assault, and public intoxication.

On 10/29/2013, Deputy Bartoskewitz was dispatched to the Porter Wal-Mart for a theft.  Upon arrivial, the Deputy discovered that a female shopper had selected several items and placed them in her boyfriend’s shopping cart. The 19 year old male then paid for a few items while keeping several items concealed.  The male then left the store with the concealed items. He was arrested for theft. The female involved was arrested for warrants and a syringe containing methamphetamines that was located in her purse.

Six people were arrested clearing ten warrants.

 

 

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

 

On October 28th, Deputy Messina was dispatched to a theft past at the Klein Funeral Home, on FM 1488.  Upon arrival, the Deputy met with the complainant who advised nineteen bronze vases had been stolen from the cemetery grounds.  This case has been referred to Detectives for investigation.

 

On October 27th, Deputy Veith was dispatched to the Grand Oaks subdivision, in reference to an assault.  Upon arrival, the Deputy met with the female complainant and a 41 year old male.  The complainant advised she was assaulted by the male.  Deputy Veith placed the male into custody for assault.

 

On October 26th, Deputy Brummett was contacted by a Grimes County Deputy, in reference to a wanted subject.  The Deputy met with the Grimes County unit and the subject.  The warrant was confirmed and the subject was placed into custody.

 

On October 23rd, Deputy LaSalle was dispatched to the 33000 block of Glenda, in reference to a warrant service. The Deputy made contact with a 21 year old male at the address.  The warrants were confirmed and a 21 year old male was placed in custody for a burglary of a motor vehicle and a failure to appear warrant.

 

On October 23rd, Deputy Provenzano was dispatched to the 32000 block of Decker Prairie, in reference to a trespasser in progress.  A 42 year old female had been asked to leave a church when she began yelling and playing loud music in the parking lot.  The Deputy met with the female who gave indicators of intoxication.  After an investigation, a plastic baggie containing methamphetamines was located in the subject’s car door.  The subject was placed into custody for felony possession of a controlled substance.

 

On October 28th, Deputy Curry was dispatched to a theft past at the Klein Funeral Home, on State Highway 249.  Upon arrival, the Deputy met with the complainant who advised forty bronze vases had been stolen from the cemetery grounds.  This case has been referred to Detectives for investigation.

 

 

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch   (Northwest County)

 

On 10/21/13, Deputy Pullen conducted a traffic stop on FM 1486 at Tisdel. The male driver was arrested for an active warrant.

On 10/23/13, Deputy Bolin conducted a welfare check on Highway 105 West. After an investigation, a male was arrested for possession of marijuana.

On 10/23/13, Deputy Macias conducted a traffic stop in the 5900 block of Skylane Drive. After an investigation, the male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

On 10/24/13, Deputy West responded to the 1900 block of Keenan Cutoff Road, in reference to theft. A male was issued a citation for theft of less than $50 of diesel fuel and released on a promise to appear.

 

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

 

Deputies were dispatched to 3040 College Park Drive for the following shoplifter in custody calls:

-On October 23, a 21 year old female was arrested after attempting to take $244.09 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

-On October 24, a 25 year old male was arrested after attempting to take $59.03 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

-On October 25, a 20 year old male was arrested after attempting to take $60.37 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

-On October 26, a 21 year old female was arrested after attempting to take $85.41 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

-On October 26, a 36 year old female was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.  A citation was issued for the attempted theft of $49.00 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

A Deputy was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands on October 23 for a shoplifter in custody call.  The suspect, two females ages 19 and 20, were arrested after attempting to take $110.00 worth of merchandise from the J.C. Penny’s Department Store.

On October 23, Deputy Eisenmenger, while conducting a traffic stop on Windsor Hills Drive, observed the driver throw a clear plastic bag containing a green leafy substance out the window.  After an investigation, the driver, a 38 year old male, was arrested for possession of marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

A 23 year old male was arrested on October 24th, during a traffic stop on Lace Arbor Drive.  During the course of the traffic stop, Deputy Pternitis discovered the suspect to be in possession of marijuana and 9 hydrocodone pills.  The suspect was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On October 27, Deputies Niquette and Runnels were dispatched to a criminal mischief and assault at 1481 Sawdust Road.  A 17 year old male suspect was located and after a brief struggle was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.  The male was charged with resisting arrest, criminal mischief and possession of marijuana.  A citation was also issued for an assault charge.
