LA MARQUE, Texas - La Marque police are still looking for an ex-convict who they say shot and killed his on again-off again girlfriend in September 2009.
Detective Geoff Price told The Police News at the time that patrol officers found 44-year old Faith Worthy Guillory dead in her Spruce Street home, shot in her head.
Investigators developed evidence leading to a murder warrant being issued for Guillory's sometime boyfriend, 51-year old Moises Perez Alvarez.
Alvarez, also known as Adrian Alvarez Del Fierro, was convicted in 1992 for the rape of a child. That charged was reduced and he was given a 10-year probabted sentence which he violated and was ultimately sent to prison.
Police say Alvarez was last seen on September 15th in the 4700 block of Highway 6 in Hitchcock and he is believed to have been spotted in the 1100 block of 5th Avenue North in Texas City before that.
Alvarez may have escaped into Mexico authorities say. He is a heavy drinker, has a violent disposition and was believed to be in possession of a .380 caliber pistol, the weapon investigators say killed Faith Guillory.
Persons with information as to the whereabouts of Alvarez are asked to call Detective Geoff Price at the La Marque Police Department, 409-938-9269.
Alvarez is Mexican, born March 10, 1958, although he has given other birth dates, he is 5'9" tall, weighs 150 lbs, has brown eyes and black, medium length hair. When last seen he had no facial hair although he has worn a mustache at times.
