NASSAU BAY, TX - The City of Nassau Bay is the hosting agency for the 2013 Texas Police Games. The scenic city of Nassau Bay is directly across the street from the Johnson Space Center (NASA) and perfectly sits about 30 miles south of downtown Houston with Galveston a 25 minute commute straight down I-45 South.

The Nassau Bay Chief of Police (Joey Cashiola) and the City Manager (Chris Reed) have guaranteed a well organized week of events which includes not only sporting events but many social events. The Bay Area CVB is working on discount coupons for the 2000 competitors expected to attend.

The website for all events is up an running. The website is www.texaspolicegames.org or just call 800-624-9752 (office in Travis County) and you will get a very welcome and friendly voice on the other end. The governing body for the Texas police games is the Texas Police Athletic Federation comprised of active and retired police officers.

This year the early registrant will be rewarded saving as much as 25% off the normal entry fees by registering prior to March 15th, 2013.The board also approved a special rate for RETIRED officers......The venues for the 2013 games are reflective of the extremely successful 2007 games. Once again Softball at Big League Dreams,3 incredible golf courses, many events at the brand new Clear Falls High School, racquetball at L.A. Fitness etc.The host hotel is the Hilton Houston Nassau Clear Lake located at 3000 Nasa Pkwy, Houston 77058....register through the Texaspolicegames.org website for a special rate.
