 BUSTED & CUFFED

This young lady, 36-year old Evelyn Janet Lemus, was out for a drive in Texas City when one of the nice policemen in that city pulled her over for a minor traffic violation.  As they always do, the nice policeman took her driver license back to his patrol car and checked her out on the very high-tech communications computer system which are now standard equipment in police cars.
Then BOOM!  The nice policeman is made aware of a string of warrants the nice lady had outstanding in more than one community.  For example: She was wanted by the League City Police Dept. for warrants charging her with Driving While License Invalid, Failure to Yield To An Emergency Vehicle, No Safety Restraint For A Child, Failure To Appear In Court.  She was also wanted by the Galveston County Sheriff's Office for Failure To Identify Herself Properly To An Officer.  In Webster, Texas she was wanted for Driving While License Invalid and in South Houston she was wanted on four different warrants.
We have hereby declared Ms. Lemus officially BUSTED & CUFFED.

Note to readers:  Some of the dialog in the above story such as the circumstances of her arrest in Texas City are assumed by the writer and may not be factual.  All other information is from the actual arrests record.

Comments:
When she is released she will drive home and still not be eligible to drive.
