A 41-year-old Ohio man is recovering in a hospital after he tore off part of his penis while high on mushrooms at a middle school in Ypsilanti Township, Michigan.

Authorities responded to a burglar alarm that was tripped at Ypsilanti Middle School last week, when they found a naked man screaming outside the school in the middle of the night.

When authorities found the man, he was bloody below his waist and had part of his genitals torn off.

"He really wasn't saying much at all — a lot of yelling and screaming," said Sgt. Geoff Fox. "He wasn't making sense. They couldn't really communicate with him in terms of constructive conversation."

The man later told authorities that he had eaten hallucinogenic mushrooms earlier in the day.

The man is still in the hospital recovering from his injuries.

Comments:

People need to stop eating those dang shrooms.
