LEAGUE CITY - A man accused of theft, forgery and credit card abuse of his elderly mother was arrested Thursday on a job site in Houston.
Jason Arnett, 40, was arrested by League City police and deputies with Constable Jerry Fisher's Office, in the 500 block of Saddlewood in Northwest Houston.
Arnett's mother is said to be 80 years old.
Authorities say Arnett was stealing his mother's jewelery and selling it to a local pawn shop.
Justice of The Peace Kathleen McCumber set bonds totaling $75,000. He is being held in the Galveston County Jail in lieu of bail.
