Constable Mark Herman’s office is pleased to announce our upcoming Citizen’s Police Academy is at its full capacity. The class is scheduled to start on August 9, 2018 and will run thru October 4, 2018.

 

The Citizen’s Police Academy is designed to provide citizens with comprehensive information about the operations of the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. Some of the topics of discussion will include:  Investigations, Traffic Safety, Civil and Warrant operations, and Patrol Operations. The information provided aims to foster a better relationship with the community and create a more informed body of citizens, allowing them to better understand what the jobs of police involve. 

 

Classes will be held once a week on Thursdays from 6:00pm – 9:00pm at the Precinct 4 Training Center located at 330 Meadowfern Houston, TX, 77067. Highly experienced officers with this agency will be instructing the classes.

 

The department is currently accepting applications for the next Citizen’s Police Academy scheduled for 2019. Individuals who wish to apply will be subject to a background check.   Persons interested in attending may go online to (http://www.constablepct4.com) and click on the Citizens Police Academy link and complete the application online.
