On July 31, 2018, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 19400 block of Ambrosia Falls Drive in reference to a juvenile male shot in the neck. Upon deputies arriving the juvenile was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and the remaining four juveniles on scene were detained.

During the investigation deputies recovered three stolen firearms and a stolen vehicle from the location. The recovered stolen property was found to be from recent Precinct 4 burglary cases. In reviewing several home surveillance videos obtained during these car burglaries, Constable Deputies were able to tie all five juveniles to dozens of burglaries to motor vehicles. These burglaries occurred in the past month throughout the Tomball Parkway and Spring Cypress areas.

“All five juveniles will be charged with State Jail Felony Organized Crime and 3rd Degree Felony Theft of a Firearm pending approval from the Major Crimes District Attorney.” –Constable Mark Herman

Investigators were able to clear burglaries to motor vehicles in the following areas:

Lakewood Forest, Faulkey Gully MUD, Villages of Northpointe, Oakcrest, Fairwood, Village Creek, Grant Meadows, Harris County MUDs 368, 286, 282, and 18.

Constable Investigators believe these suspects will be responsible for more burglaries pending the outcome of their investigation. All five suspects are juveniles therefore their names and photographs will not be released.

All stolen property recovered by Constables once identified will be returned to its rightful owners and will be contacted directly by investigators.
