 On 04-17-2018 at 7:36 P.M. Officers made contact with a suspicious person in the 1300 block of Clarksville who was identified as David Brooks (48 YOA male). Brooks was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Lamar County for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Brooks was placed under arrest for the warrant. 
 
 On 04-17-2018 at 11:50 A.M. Officers spoke with a complainant in the police department lobby in regards to a fraud complaint. It was reported that an unknown suspect had used the complainant’s banking information to conduct a financial transaction at an unknown location. The investigation is ongoing. 
 
Paris Police responded to 77 calls for service and arrested 5 persons over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 A.M. on April 18, 2018.
