One person was injured early Tuesday when a package exploded at a
FedEx distribution center in Schertz, a suburb on the Northeast Side of
San Antonio.
The explosion follows a series of four bombings in Austin that have killed two and injured four.
The medium-sized package exploded around 12:25 a.m. while
being conducted along a conveyor track, according to police. The
package contained metal shrapnel and nails, and one victim was treated
and released, according to the Schertz Police Department.
