FEMA has opened a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Dickinson, located in the former Amegy Bank building, 2401 Termini Street, Dickinson, Texas (across the street from Zeigler’s and next door to the US Post Office).

The FEMA DRC will be open daily 7:00 am until 7:00 pm.  The DRC is available to assist those in or around Galveston County that have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.  The DRC offer in-person support to individuals and businesses in counties included in the Texas federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Harvey and the subsequent floods.

The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will have FEMA staff on hand to help people file for disaster recovery relief, or if you have already filed, they are available to discuss your case. In addition to FEMA, the DRC will also have other representatives from the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

The Red Cross, additional volunteer groups and other agencies are at the center to answer questions about disaster assistance and low-interest disaster loans for homeowners, renters and businesses.  Spanish speaking staff members will be present.
