Details:

On March 11th, 2017, a Deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office, performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2900 blk. of North Beltway 8 West after being flagged down by a concerned motorist in reference to the vehicle being suspicious. The vehicle was stopped due to a traffic violation and the following investigation at the scene revealed the RV trailer being towed by the defendant’s vehicle was in fact stolen but, had not yet been reported as such out of Montgomery County, Texas. The defendant was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The defendant was taken into custody without incident and identified as Edward Hood.
 
“Hood was arrested and charged with Theft $30,000.00 - $150,000.00 / Possession of a Controlled Substance and booked into the Harris County Jail. His bond has been set at $15,000.00 at this time. The case is set to be heard in County Criminal Court 351.” – Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman
