Early Morning Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit Assault

TEXAS CITY, TX (March 10, 2017, 8:00 AM): Texas City Police officers responded to a home invasion in the 100 block of 17th Street North at approximately 5:30 AM Friday morning. The male victim answered a knock at the door and was immediately struck several times with a baseball bat. It is unknown whether or not the suspects took anything from the house. The victim has been transported to the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston for medical treatment.

The suspects in this case have been identified only as two Hispanic males. Police are asking anyone with information in this case to call Detective Flores at (409) 643-5834.
