I only met Jorge last weekend but I will always cherish the kindness he showed me while we sat and talked about life, the job and faith.

Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God.

Jorge was my brother in law and I can say is that he has brought me closer to God and that I was privileged to have been able to spend the last weeks of his life helping my sis take care of him. I had a lot of time to talk to him and every time he always had jokes and made me laugh. One thing for sure despite all of his pain he never once complained. I can't say that I have ever known someone that strong. For those who were able to make his service, I am sure you can tell by the way Father Francois spoke of him that he had great faith and he was not afraid to die, his only hurt came from leaving his family behind but he knows he will see them again one day and that gave him comfort. Rest in peace Jorge, you are very loved.
