Suspect Wanted in Jim Miller Road Homicide

On May 11, 2016, at approximately 10:08 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 232 S. Jim Miller Road. Officers arrived at the location and were informed by several witnesses that victim, Stuart Lane B/M 32, had been shot and taken to an upstairs apartment. Officers located the victim and requested Dallas Fire and Rescue to the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries. Christopher Deon Shaw has been identified by witnesses to shooting the victim Stuart Lane. 

The Dallas Police department is asking that anyone with information about the murder or the location of Suspect Shaw contact the Homicide Unit at (214) 671-36631.

Shooting on Jim Miller

 

On May 10, 2016, at about 10:06 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Asante Apartments located at 232 South Jim Miller Road regarding a shooting. Upon officers arrival they were met by several witnesses who informed them that a male had been shot and taken upstairs to an apartment. Officers were able to locate the victim and direct Dallas Fire Rescue to the location. The victim Stuart Lane B/M/31 was  transported  to Baylor Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. There are no suspects in custody at this time, the investigation is ongoing. This offense is documented on case number 111845-2016.
