FORT WORTH, TX -  

Tuesday, June 3, 2014, the Fort Worth Police Department’s Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit will be participating in “Roadcheck 2014”.  Roadcheck 2014 is an international activity that will take place June 3-5, 2014 throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.  Roadcheck 2014 will emphasize in promoting both safety and security on North American highways through the inspection of commercial vehicles and drivers.  Roadcheck 2014 will place special emphasis on ensuring compliance for vehicles transporting hazardous materials.

Local media is invited to take this opportunity to view at least a portion of this important safety and security event.  You’ll see CVSA trained inspectors checking critical safety elements on the vehicles as well as determining drivers’ fitness for duty.  If you would like to attend any portion of Roadcheck 2014 or need further information on this event, please contact Sergeant Kevin Woodson at 817-392-4859.”
