A League City police officer checking on a suspicious vehicle in the Walmart parking lot at around midnight Thursday, found John Anthony Raimondo, 29, and Christina Manzano, 27, sleeping.

The officer asked them if they were OK. Their response was that they were on a road trip to Dallas and had stopped to rest.

He found this odd because they both lived in the area. After checking both their drivers licenses it was discovered that Raimondo had previously been given a criminal trespass warning from Walmart and he was placed in custody.

Manzano, the owner of the vehicle, gave consent to search the vehicle and cocaine and a hypodermic needle were found. She was then placed in custody.

Both were booked into the League City Jail.
