AUSTIN - Texas Ranger Frank Hamer, most well-known for helping lead the search for infamous gangsters Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, is not easily remembered in brief, his great nephew said Sunday.
"One of the problems of talking about a man like this is limiting the scope of what you talk about," Hamer's great nephew, Harrison Hamer, said Sunday as about 70 people gathered at Hamer's grave for a ceremony in his honor. "He was dedicated to defending law and order, particularly for those who could not defend themselves."
