ALVIN, Texas -  About 8:47 Tuesday morning, Brazoria County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to the 19000 block of CR 927C in Alvin to investigate a possible robbery in progress. 

Upon arrival they discovered 2 men had been shot.  One victim, Albert Garcia, was dead on the scene.  The other victim, Reynaldo Garcia, had been shot in his leg and was transported from the location by Pearland EMS. 

Additional law enforcement personnel arrived and after conducting a search of the area two black men were found hiding in a field 400 yards away.  They were taken into custody and are currently being questioned at the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office. 

This investigation is ongoing.
