The Harris County Sheriff's Office Crimes Against Children Unit is currently investigating the sexual assault of a 16 year old girl in the 16600 block of Spring Cypress Road on February 5, 2013, in northwest Harris County.
 
The teenager was walking west on Spring Cypress around 11:00p.m.   The attacker, described as a white man, 5'7 to 5'8, thin muscular build, wearing dark colored clothing, approached the girl from behind.  He dragged her into the adjacent field and sexually assaulted her.  He then beat her with a blunt object several times in the head and fled in an unknown direction.  The injured girl managed to walk to a business nearby and told witnesses to call 911.
 
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to solve this violent crime.   If anyone saw the girl walking along Spring Cypress Road and Barker Cypress Road between the hours of 10:15 and 11:45 pm , Friday , February 5, 2013,  or has any information about the attacker you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713 -222-TIPS (8477).
