Nine men and three women were selected Monday to form the jury in the fatal hit-and-run trial of former Capitol staffer Gabrielle Nestande.
The jurors were chosen from a pool of more than 80 people briefed on the case and questioned on their beliefs and biases by prosecutors and defense attorneys. The trial is slated to start at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Authorities say Nestande, 25, struck and killed Courtney Griffin with her car and fled the scene in the early hours of May 27, 2011.
