HOUSTON - Members of the National Black United Front and The New Black Panther Party came together to continue their two year long protest at the Harris County Criminal Courthouse.

They're asking for an independent citizen's review board with the ability to subpoena police records and prosecute officers accused of wrongdoing.

Chad Holley is a thug, and has been rearrested for burglary since he ran from police the first time. Pick another poster child, NBP!

Chad Holley? Really??? I am positive that there are outstanding citizens out there that may have been wronged by an over zealous officer. But your thug-ass poster boy Chad Holley isn't one of them morons!

Racist hypocrites wasting their time for 2 years.

What would people say if there was a White Activists group. The answer racists. This is such bullsh...t

Hey Topcat there is a White Activists group called Henry Porretto's "Protect with Respect" program

Four of the officers were already charged. The first one to go to trial was acquitted by a jury. As far as I know the other three cases are still pending. So basically what they want is a legalized lynch mob so they can just put every officer through the ringer, every single time, regardless of the facts.

They want a private board with prosecutorial power even though no such thing exists anywhere in Texas and isn't authorized by State law. If they really wanted that in good faith then they would be protesting in front of the Capital Building in Austin to change the law, not in front of the Harris County courthouse. The real reason they are protesting is because they are the perfect combination of mad and ignorant.

We always have to make this a race issue. Fact is cops lie against all races to cover their actions. Cops use excessive force against all of the above. Cops lie against all of the above.

If officers are doing nothing wrong there would be no big deal with establishing a citizen review board. Look around the country why do you think cops are dropping like flies??

Its sad that the bad cops are never the ones who get killed in the line of duty, its always a good cop that pulls someone over or knocks on the door of a home of someone who has been wronged by a dirty cop in the past.

Look at Eric Bruss in Santa Fe, after he nearly beat Sergio Robles to death, the next cop he came into contact with was killed. Jesse Hamilton was a good officer, but Mr. Robles just wasn't willing to take that chance that it may have been another Eric Bruss knocking on his door.

Sergio Robles was a criminal, he was not beaten, nor did he shoot the next police officer he came in contact with as he had been arrested on at least two occasions after he was arrested in Santa Fe. He did not shoot an officer who knocked on his door, he lay in wait and ambushed Jesse Hamilton when he arrived to answer a call from Sergio Robles own mother who couldnt handle his violent actions... Oh ya, I forgot he had just been released from jail on another criminal charge not related to Santa Fe police. The day Santa Fe dealt with him, he was using cocaine and had tried to stab his own brother... I'm not going to go on with all the details you so conveniently left out to make police look bad... Sergio Robles?, talk about picking the wrong poster boy!. This post wouldn't be made by a certain person or family member who already owes Sgt. Bruss around $240,000 in judgments for slandering Sgt. Bruss would it be?, cause that would make more sense!
