Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls and his administration wanted to kick off the new year with a clean slate, and he and all his employees will.

Nehls took office on Jan. 1, 2013, and on Jan. 3-4 he personally presented every employee of the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office with new ID badge which has his signature.

At the same time, all employees took a drug test with Nehls and members of his Command Staff standing first in line.
