For the past month detectives with the Dickinson Police Department have been conducting an investigation on a Registered Sex Offender.
Detectives developed information that the Sex Offender was living at a residence he was not registered at, a violation of the Sex Offender Registration Laws.
Wednesday detectives executed a search warrant at the residence in the 3000 Block of Crest Drive and recovered evidence that the Sex Offender was in fact living at the unregistered location.
In addition detectives located an elaborate indoor Marijuana grow in a hidden room inside the residence where they recovered 15 Marijuana plants in various stages of growth and 10 seedlings.
The raw weight on the Marijuana was over 20 pounds.
Jason Hale, 34, from Dickinson was charged with Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration and Felony Possession of Marijuana. He was jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Brandi Hales, 34, from Dickinson was charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana. She was jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail.
