HOUSTON - A mom is hoping you learn something after she was carjacked while unloading groceries at her own home.
Have you ever had a strong feeling that something just isn't right and you ignored it? Well, this mother who was attacked and carjacked around 9:45 Sunday night wants to remind you to trust your instinct. She didn't and she is paying dearly for it.
One minute she was unloading groceries from her car at her Northeast Harris County apartment and the next she was being attacked. "He was in front of me. He was going up the stairs and next thing you know both of them rushed me, pushed me down right outside on the grassy area and put their hands over my face," explains Ariane Dearing. Dearing's groceries went all over the ground and she could hear her four year old son screaming. "I was worried for my son, just really scary because I didn't expect something like that to happen at my own home," cries Dearing.
"It was a little bit scary," says her 4-year-old son.
