Jeremy Wayne Coker - Charged with stabbing his father

NEW CANEY - Tuesday afternoon Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 21800 block of Ruth in the New Caney area after receiving a report of a stabbing.

At the residence they found a 49 year-old man had been stabbed during a fight with his 21 year-old son.

The son, Jeremy Wayne Coker was found nearby walking away from the residence and was arrested for aggravated assault.

His father was taken to a Houston hospital where he underwent surgery and is expected to recover.
