Comments:
met Arthur while working at HPD's Westside station and we became fast friends. We both shared a love of the coast as we would talk about fishing and someday owning a beach house. I remember he bought a place in Rockport and he loved going there with his wife Charlotte to do some fishing and just relax. Arthur was also a very modest individual, very few people at the police station knew he fought in WWII and was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge. He had some great life experiences but never talked much about them until you got to really know him. He was a great person and I thank him for his service to this great country. America has lost one of its heroes and Houston has lost one of it's dedicated servants. Rest in peace, my friend.
