News Release Nature of Incident: Evading arrest
Date of Incident: August 5, 2017

At about 9:00 pm, Dickinson Police received a call of a possible intoxicated driver in the 2800 block of Gulf Freeway. Officers arrived and found a 1998 Toyota facing the wrong direction on the southbound lanes of the feeder road with a flat tire.

A male subject ran from the officers onto the main portion of the freeway and eventually across the freeway to a business on the northbound side of the road. While officers were searching the parking lot of the business, the male ran back across the freeway.

Officers continued their search and about an hour later were eventually able to locate the male hiding under a vehicle at a car dealership in the area. 22 year old Dresnner Brayner Xiloj-Herrera from Webster was arrested and charged with one count of evading arrest or detention and one count of resisting arrest, search or transportation.

Both charges are misdemeanors and bond was set at $2,500.00 for each charge. Tim J. Cromie Sergeant / Public Information Officer Criminal Investigation Division
