Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies caught three suspects attempting to break into a business on Highway 6 late Thursday.
At about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, deputies were called to The Smokin Guns tattoo parlor in the 9400 block of Highway 6 South in the Houston area to investigate a burglary in progress.
Deputies found three men and a cargo van behind the business. Theyhad tools that were being used to enter the store. The van turned out to be stolen from the community of Spring Valley.
The three took off on foot with deputies giving chase. Two were later captured by deputies and a third was apprehended by a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper.
Facing charges of Attempted Burglary of a Business and Evading Detention/Arrest are Jackie Dennis, 33, Jennifer Baum, 30, and Eric Castaneda, 36. Dennis and Baum live in Houston. Castaneda lives in Sealy.
All three were held bonds of $750 for each charge. Dennis has already posted bail; Baum and Castaneda remain in the Fort Bend County Jail.
