TEXAS CITY, TX (August 12, 2018, 9:30 AM): Texas City Police Detectives have identified the deceased as Lucia "Lucy" Bertrand and determined the case to be a Homicide. As of 08/11/2018, Detectives have been able to link at least two suspects to Bertrand's death. On 08/11/2018, Police arrested and charged Amy Lynne Medina with Murder and she currently sits in the Galveston County Jail on a $250,000 bond. Police are also looking for 19-year-old Cory Thomas McCray (M/B) who also has an active warrant for the Homicide (with a $250,000 bond). Police are asking anyone who may have information about the homicide or the whereabouts of McCray to call (409) 643-5720.

TEXAS CITY, TX (August 9, 2018, 4:42 PM): August 9, 2018, 3:36 PM Texas City Police Officers were called to the 2900 block of Vance Ave. in reference to an unresponsive female at a residence. Officers arrived on scene and found an unknown age female deceased inside the residence. The criminal investigation and identifications divisions are on scene and an investigation is underway.
